People's Daily Overseas Social Media Team is looking for English editors for positions in Beijing (foreign passport holders only).

1.负责人民网运营的人民日报海外社交媒体平台英文稿件(含新媒体产品)的编辑、审校。

Ability to write, edit, and proofread English articles and texts for new media products on the official Twitter, Facebook and Youtube accounts of People’s Daily, China’s largest newspaper group.

2.承担人民网运营的人民日报海外社交媒体平台视频访谈类节目的出镜主持。

Ability to present news and interview people for video reports produced for the official Twitter, Facebook and Youtube accounts of People’s Daily.

3.撰写适合在海外新媒体平台传播的英文评论。

Write English editorials suitable for the above platforms.

4.跟踪国外主流媒体和社交媒体平台发布的重大新闻。

Keep up to date with important news on foreign mainstream media and social media.

任职资格

Requirements:

1.英语为母语或具备母语水平，年龄不超过50岁。

Native or native-like fluency in English, and under the age of 50.

2.具备良好的英文文字功底和写作技能。

Excellent English writing skills.

3.中文熟练，具备中翻英能力。

Excellent grasp of Chinese, and able to translate between Chinese and English.

4.学士以上学位。学士学位应聘者，须具有两年以上新闻媒体相关工作经验；硕士学位应聘者，无工作年限要求，但必须具有新闻与传播、国际关系、中文等相关专业背景。

Bachelor’s degree holders:2+ years’ experience working in the media industry required.

Graduate degree holders: Education background preferably in journalism, media, communications, international relations, Chinese,or related fields.

5.熟悉中国国情。

Has thorough knowledge of China's politics, economy, culture, and etc
